This year marks a special milestone for Disney’s Animal Kingdom as it celebrates its 25th anniversary. In honor of this special occasion, the park cast members have come together for a unique and heartwarming project—a time capsule!

If you are not familiar with time capsules, you can think of them as a type of treasure chest filled with today’s memories, set to be opened at some set point in the future. The time capsule created by the Animal Kingdom cast members will stay sealed until 2048. That’s when the future cast members will open it during Animal Kingdoms 50th anniversary celebration.
