Due to COVID-19 concerns, the Disneyland holiday tradition will be broken this year… Disneyland candy canes won’t be available this holiday season, according to Disney officials.

Disneyland’s Candy Palace and DCA’s Trolley Treats typically sell the limited-edition Hand-Pulled Candy Canes from Thanksgiving week until Christmas Day.

Even with Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure reopening later this week these $15 treats will not be sold at Trolley Treats this holiday season…

Disneyland will not be selling Hand Pulled Candy Canes due to COVID-19 Concerns

Disneyland will be unable to handle the production of hand-pulled candy canes by candy makers due to health and safety guidelines, including physical distancing measures, according to Disney officials.

The hand-pulled candy canes tradition dates back to 1968, each year, guests would flock to the Disneyland Resort to get in on the hand-crafted sweetness. These candy canes would measure a whopping 18 inches long!
