It looks like Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin in Disneyland is getting an update! The attraction is being reimagined to have a female lead character. This new plot twist puts Jessica Rabbit into the lead role as a private eye determined to stamp out a Toontown crime wave.

Some scenes in the attraction featuring Jessica Rabbit are being updated to be more relevant. One scene featuring Jessica Rabbit tied up in the trunk of a car has already been updated. Jessica Rabbit has been replaced by barrels of cartoon-erasing paint thinner known as Dip in the trunk. According to Disneyland officials, the ride’s finale scene is also being updated.
“Jessica Rabbit has determined it is past time for her to throw her fedora in the ring by starting her own private investigation service,” according to the new Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin backstory. “Watch out weasels, your reign of terror is over.”
This ToonTown attraction is based on the 1988 film “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” where Roger Rabbit is accused of murder and must turn to detective Eddie Valiant to find the killer. Guests at Disneyland hop aboard a taxi cab and race through Toontown in search of Jessica Rabbit.
