Due to further restrictions in France in response to COVID-19, it appears as though Disneyland Paris cancels 2 summer events and potentially not expected to open until mid-July! An announcement was made earlier by French President Emmanuel Macron that the current lockdown will be extended until May 11th! France has also cancelled all summer festivals and events through to mid-July, including the much loved Tour de France!

Disneyland Paris Cancels 2 Summer Events

What does this mean for Disneyland Paris? Well, this could mean Disneyland Paris cancels 2 summer events, Magical Pride 2020 and Electroland! Magical Pride 2020 was due to take place on June 6th and Electroland due to return on July 3rd- 5th, with headliners like Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike!

Disneyland Paris has also issued a statement on their website to say that Marvel Summer of Super Heroes, which was set to return this year to Walt Disney Studios, is also cancelled. This fan-favourite event was set to take place on March 28th through to June 7th.

Likewise, with this in mind alongside the new restrictions, it could be possible that Disneyland Paris is unlikely to open until mid-July has hinted by DLP Report:

Therefore, it could be suggested that Europe’s most visited attraction which is currently closed, will remain closed until further notice. For many who have booked a stay at Disneyland Paris, click here for FAQ from Disneyland Paris themselves. They are currently offering guests to rebook their stays for dates until the 30th June 2020. They are offering guests the possibility to “rebook at the same price until May 15th, 2020 for an arrival before October 1st, 2020”.
