Disneyland Monorail, Soarin’ Around the World, and Alice in Wonderland Closing in Early July for Refurbishment

Three attractions at the Disneyland Resort will be closing for refurbishment in early July. The Disneyland Monorail, Soarin’ Around the World, and Alice in Wonderland will all be closed for an undetermined amount of time this summer.

Alice in Wonderland is set to undergo refurbishment for around 10 days in early June and now it looks like it’ll be closed in July as well. The Disneyland website lists the closure dates for the attraction as June 5-15 and beginning July 5. There’s no set reopening date for the July closure.

“Wind along a curving path surrounded by surreal sights, dazzling colors and madcap music as you retrace the steps of Alice and her adventures in Wonderland. Glide through the White Rabbit’s House, Tulgey Wood and the Queen’s Garden. Encounter Wonderland locals The Mad Hatter, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, The Cheshire Cat and more.”

Beginning July 5, the Disneyland Monorail will also be closed for refurbishment. There is no set reopening date for the monorail yet. The Disneyland calendar only goes through July 10 right now and the monorail is closed at least through then.

Over at Disney California Adventure, Soarin’ Around the World will be closed starting July 5 as well. Like the monorail, this attraction will be closed at least through July 10. We don’t have a set reopening date just yet.

“Your journey begins as the clouds part above the majestic Swiss Alps, revealing a familiar sight to Disneyland fans. Next, you’ll visit polar bears in icy Greenland, swoop past sailboats on Australia’s iconic Sydney Harbour and weave between elephants marching toward Mount Kilimanjaro.

Glide above marvels like the Great Wall of China, the Great Pyramids of Egypt and the Taj Mahal in India. Cruise over Monument Valley, Fiji’s Lau Island and thundering Iguazu Falls in South America. Gaze down at the Eiffel Tower as it sparkles like a jewel in the night, surrounded by the lights of Paris.”

Will these closures impact your Disneyland trip?
