Gucci has teamed up with Disney to celebrate the True Original, Mickey Mouse. In honor of Mickey’s 90th Anniversary a Disney x Gucci collaboration brought out a Mickey Mouse handbag on the runway for the Gucci Spring/Summer 2019 fashion show.
The unique bags are replica’s of Mickey’s face and were seen in an all black, all white, and a classic color palette. This isn’t the first time Gucci has added magic to their designs with a bit of Disney, we’ve also seen Donald Duck and Snow White apparel in the past. Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele is a fan of Disney, and enjoys adding touches of inspirations he enjoys to his designs.
Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele introduced handbags shaped like Mickey Mouse’s head on the runway of the night club, Le Palace, in Paris. The new bags are expected to make their debut for the Spring/Summer fashion season, and are sure to be a must have accessory.
They look like they might be a fun accessory to carry at the Disney Parks, and I can’t wait to see some of the magical styles people come up with!
