The Walt Disney World theme parks will soon be open in a matter of days! Of course, this joyful news brings a smile to the face of many Disney fans. But with the phased reopening of the theme parks comes the return of Disney’s transportation Cast Members. These workers help make Disney World’s transportation a magical experience for all guests.
Below is the official announcement made by Disney Parks regarding the phased return dates of Walt Disney World’s transportation.

We have already seen the return of Disney Buses, which we used to visit the recently reopened Disney World Resorts. The buses utilize new health and safety precautions including social distancing measures to serve passengers.
Later this week, we’ll see the return of monorails and ferry boats at the Ticket Transportation Center when the Magic Kingdom prepares to open for Annual Passholder preview dates. The Skyliner service will resume operations when both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios reopen.
We’ll provide coverage of our experience riding the monorail and ferry boats later this week. It’ll be interesting to see the new social distancing methods being applied in person, but we’re confident in the effectiveness of the health and safety protocols for guests. Stay tuned for more updates!
