Disney World President Lauds Imagineers After Testing New Alien Swirling Saucers

There’s dynamic energy in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Walt Disney World Resort President Joe Schott recently stopped by Pizza Planet’s favorite play space to take a spin on the newly updated Alien Swirling Saucers attraction.

Schott took to social media to share photos from his visit and express his appreciation for the teams behind the update, writing:

“To the Cast Members and Imagineers who make every spin around the galaxy fun, I knew you would make this update special for our Guests!”

The popular Toy Story Land attraction has received a refreshed soundtrack hosted by Lilypad, a character from Toy Story 5. Serving as the resident DJ, Lilypad brings two brand-new original tracks, freshly remixed classic Pixar tunes, and fun additions to the playlist.

Outside the attraction queue, guests will notice a new “Lilypad’s Jams” banner styled like a oversized friendship bracelet. Even if you aren’t waiting in line to ride, a larger-than-life figure of Lilypad sits in a flowerbed outside the entrance, playing tunes from the updated soundtrack for passing parkgoers.

Most of the original attraction setlist has been refreshed or replaced. Favorite classics like “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” and “We Belong Together” returned with updated remixes, alongside an instrumental arrangement of Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You.”
