The Walt Disney World theme parks are getting ready to reopen this week and the newly appointed president, Jeff Vahle visited Animal Kingdom to see how training was going. Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom will be the first two U.S. Disney theme parks to reopen officially this Saturday, July 11th. Jeff Vahle posted on his Instagram account some photos of the cast members and social distancing markers.
Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle Shows Inside Look at Animal Kingdom Before Reopening
In one of the photos we can see the new social distancing markers on the ground. We also get to see the face masks that will be required by cast members. Guests visiting will also be required to wear face masks and undergo temperature checks.
While the official reopening is this Saturday there will be cast member and annual pass previews prior to that.
We can’t wait to be back at Walt Disney World. We will be there opening week to see all the new guidelines and procedures. Thank you cast members for all your hard work.
