Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Wish all named Good Housekeeping 2023 Family Travel Award Winners
Good Housekeeping has announced its 2023 Family Travel Award winners! Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and Disney Wish, the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, have all been announced as winners.

The judges at Good Housekeeping chose winners based on the following:
- Convenience
- Value
- Quality
- Safety
- Innovation
- Inclusion
They also considered firsthand feedback from travel experts and real families for each submission.
Walt Disney World Resort was listed as a “Must-Do Disney Trip”. “One tester with young children suggests taking advantage of the baby centers at each park. “They were the calmest areas for nursing and diaper changes,” she said. “They have small potties for little kids who may be intimidated by the restrooms.” Another tester noted that hopping between Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot has become so fast and fun, thanks to the new gondola system, Disney Skyliner.”
Disneyland was listed as “Classic Disney Charm”.
“‘My tween loved the Matterhorn Bobsleds, which are only at Disneyland,’ said our tester. ‘It’s not a kiddie ride or wild coaster—it has just the right amount of thrill for her.’ Three Disney hotels, including the spectacular Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, are just a short walk to the park.”
The Disney Wish was listed as the “Ultimate Kids’ Ship”.
“‘I like that families rotate through the ship’s three restaurants, and keep the same waiters every night so they get to know preference and dietary restrictions,’ our tester said.”
