Disney will reimburse staff traveling for abortions

Disney World

The Walt Disney and several other Companies have just confirmed they will cover the travel expenses for those who seek an abortion after the Supreme Court officially overturned Roe V. Wade.

Disney, Netflix, Paramount, Comcast, Warner Brothers, Sony, and Amazon have pledged to support workers who live in US states where abortion will likely become illegal.

L.A. journalist Matthew Belloni shared the news on his Twitter moments ago:

In April, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed Florida’s abortion bill into law. The bill prohibits abortion after 15 weeks. The bill is expected to take effect on July 1st.
