Currently, subscribers can purchase the services individually or in a package deal but all have their own apps. The Disney+ app will now be home to all three services. There will still be the option to subscribe separately or combined.

Iger said of the change, it “is a logical projection of DTC offerings that will provide greater opportunities for advertisers while giving bundle subscribers access to more robust and streamlined content resulting in greater audience engagement and ultimately leading to more unified streaming experience.”

This new ‘one-app’ streaming experience will launch later this year.

This announcement comes alongside the news that Disney+ lost 4 million subscribers globally this quarter. Though Disney did cut its streaming losses by $400 million.
