Construction on the new Polynesian Village Resort DVC tower continues to progress
Construction on the new DVC Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort continues to move along at an impressive pace.
The tower is really starting to take shape, reaching up to a height of 9 stories in the tallest areas.
From the exterior, the room balconies and tower elevator shafts are evident. You can also see evidence of exterior work on the building from the outside.
Utility work is also evidently still progressing.
Construction on the new DVC tower is slated to wrap sometime in 2024. While artist renderings do depict a finished building that fits the theme of the Polynesian Village Resort, it remains to be seen how well the new tower will blend into the skyline of both the Polynesian as well as the nearby Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
