Disney Starlight Confirmed to Step Aside on Holiday Party Evenings
In a repeat of last year’s schedule, Disney has officially confirmed that Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away will step aside on the evenings when Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes over Magic Kingdom.

The nighttime parade will continue to run its regular schedule on all non-party evenings.
Since bursting onto the scene for its grand debut on July 20, 2025, the new glowing spectacular has typically treated guests to two performances per night on most dates. However, the decision to pause the show on event nights mirrors the strategy from its inaugural year, when the parade took a brief hiatus on evenings designated for Magic Kingdom’s seasonal Halloween and Christmas parties.

The festive holiday season across Walt Disney World will officially run from November 13, 2026, through January 6, 2027. However, the holiday cheer kicks off early at Magic Kingdom, where Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party debuts on November 8. This after-hours, separate-ticket event treats guests to exclusive seasonal offerings, including the hallmark Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.
