If you combine the six live-action shows from Lucasfilm (The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett) and Marvel Studios (WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and Hawkeye), then you’ll see these shows generated nearly 36 billion minutes of viewing time in the weeks that original episodes aired.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, The Mandalorian leads on Disney+ in terms of viewing time as the most popular from Star Wars filmmakers. Nielsen’s year-end streaming chart for 2021 said Disney+ users watched about 14.5 billion minutes of The Mandalorian series during the course of the year, with the majority (8.4 billion) coming in the eight weeks that season two debuted.
Loki has been the most successful Marvel series so far, with Hawkeye being the least popular show. Though it’s worth noting that the Marvel shows generally have had fewer episodes than that Star Wars shows, which will have reduced the number of minutes watched.
