Yesterday Disney participated in a Q&A session at Morgan Stanley’s 2022 Technology, Media & Telecom Conference. Disney’s CFO Christine McCarthy was there to represent the company.
Christine mentioned how Disney Character Meet & Greets would be returning soon to the Disney World and Disneyland Theme Parks, also she spoke about the crowd levels at the theme parks.

McCarthy mentioned that the Disney Theme Parks are not yet back to their normal capacity levels and that they would NOT be returning to what they were pre-pandemic.

The new Disney Reservation Systems at both Disney World and Disneyland allows Disney to track how many guests will be at the theme parks on any given day.
Disney does not want the parks bursting at the seams so that guests have a more enjoyable time.
We do know that the Disney World Reservation system is here to stay at least till 2024. However social media posts from the past few weeks show crowd levels extremely high so if parks aren’t at 100% capacity to me it looks like they are very close. Wait times today for big-ticket rides are anywhere from 80 minutes to 160 minutes.
