Video: Parts of Disney World Flooded last night in a rare heavy rain event

Last night guests visiting Disney World reported that several areas flooded from a rare heavy rain event usually reserved for summer.

Take a look:

You can see Hollywood Studios entrance was completely flooded.

Guests state that Hollywood Studios received 3″ of rain in a very short time.

Here is a look at the rain over in Epcot.

Even the Disney World Resorts saw areas of flooding from the heavy rains.

The rain is much needed as Central Florida is experiencing drought conditions. 

Those visiting the Orlando area can expect more rain over the next few days as a cold front comes in lowering temps to the 60’s this weekend.
