Toys R Us has announced an exclusive Tron Power Disc for the Disney Infinity game.
These little discs give the player a character upgrade when they are put under them on the portal. Currently the following are available in Wave 1 in the foil packs, and packed in with Starter Packs:
- Bolt’s Super Strength – Character that you’re playing with does 10% more damage.
- Fix It Felix’s Repair Power – Character you’re playing with has 20% more health.
- C.H.R.O.M.E’s Armor Shield – In-game character receives -10% less damage.
- Pieces of Eight – In-game character gains 10% more loot.
The new Tron themed Power disc will only be sold at Toys R Us and will work with other power discs to give the character a 10% boost to the experience they earn.
The Tron power disc will be available in stores from September 7th. This date matches up with Toys R Us Disney Infinity Power Disc Trade event that runs from 12 noon to 2pm.
I am thinking that the wave 2 release of figures and power discs are more likely as we get closer to Christmas.
Wishing you Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust

its going to be october 5th i have talked to the people at toys r us and gamestop
Series 2 is going to be released November 26th. It’s already been announced elsewhere.
I would say series 2 will be released either early October or late October. The reason being is that both Walmart and Game Stop are getting a character they get to sell earlier than everyone else so maybe, just maybe, that will be the start of series 2 which would be early October. But most of the figures won’t actually be released until end of October, such as the Toy Story playset. My guess is we will actually see at least series 3, and maybe 4, before Christmas.
