The new characters & experiences for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge were teased during the Star Wars Celebration in London.
Today is the final day of the Star Wars Celebration, “the ultimate fan experience focused on the galaxy far, far away…” which is being held at the Excel venue in London, England. During a Disney Parks panel on April 9th, Disney Imagineers teased new character experiences will be coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

While no specific characters were confirmed, Imagineer Scott Trowbridge did note the new characters would be tied to the media announcements made during Star Wars Celebration, which has included three new live-action Star Wars movies (including the return of Daisy Ridley as Rey) and the release for the Ahsoka trailer.
There were also no specific confirmations or commitments to any specific park. Considering Mando and Grogu have begun appearing at Walt Disney World, we have hope these experiences will extend beyond one park.
