Disney+ and Hulu Prices Jump Again as Disney Raises Streaming Rates for the Fourth Time in Four Years
Disney+ and Hulu subscribers are getting another bump in their monthly bills, with Disney rolling out a new round of streaming price increases in the United States. The changes took effect September 23 for new subscribers, while existing customers will see the higher rates beginning with their next monthly bill. It marks the fourth Disney streaming price increase in four years, continuing a trend that has made keeping up with Disney’s growing streaming lineup noticeably more expensive.

The biggest increases hit subscribers who prefer to watch without commercials. Disney+ Premium and Hulu Premium have each jumped from $18.99 to $21.49 per month, an increase of $2.50. Meanwhile, the ad-supported standalone versions of Disney+ and Hulu increased by 50 cents, moving from $11.99 to $12.49 per month. One notable exception is the Disney+ and Hulu bundle with ads, which remains unchanged at $12.99 per month. That means the bundle now costs only 50 cents more than subscribing to either ad-supported service individually.
Disney also adjusted several of its bundles. The ad-free Disney+ and Hulu Premium bundle increased from $19.99 to $21.99 per month, while the Disney+, Hulu and ESPN Select bundle with ads is now $21.99. The premium version of that three-service bundle rises to $32.99 per month. Bundles featuring ESPN Unlimited remain unchanged at $35.99 with ads and $44.99 for the premium version. ESPN Unlimited itself recently increased from $29.99 to $31.99 per month.
Hulu + Live TV customers are seeing the largest dollar increase. The ad-supported package is now $99.99 per month, up $10, while Hulu + Live TV Premium has climbed another $10 to $109.99 per month. The latest increases arrive the same day Pixar’s “Toy Story 5” made its Disney+ debut, giving subscribers a major new release to stream alongside the higher prices.

The increases continue a steady climb for Disney’s streaming services. Disney raised Disney+ and Hulu prices in both 2023 and 2024, and the ad-free Disney+ plan has now gone from $10.99 per month before the 2023 increase to $21.49 today. For households juggling several streaming subscriptions, Disney’s bundles are becoming an increasingly important part of the equation, especially with the Disney+ and Hulu ad-supported bundle holding at $12.99.
