Work is moving forward on the new DVC Lounge Coming to Magic Kingdom
Disney is making strides on McKim’s Mile House, the highly anticipated Disney Vacation Club (DVC) lounge coming to Magic Kingdom by Summer 2025. A new Notice of Commencement has been filed by Walt Disney Imagineering, confirming that installation of signage is now in progress. The permit has been assigned to Design Communications, a longtime Disney collaborator known for crafting themed signage that seamlessly blends into the park’s immersive environments.

Set to open by summer 2025 in the former Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade, McKim’s Mile House will be Magic Kingdom’s first-ever DVC-exclusive lounge. Inspired by the Gold Rush-era boarding houses, this cozy retreat will offer complimentary soft drinks from Coke Freestyle machines, Wi-Fi access with charging cords available, and a children’s entertainment area. Members can also take advantage of on-site Member Services for assistance during their visit. The lounge is designed as a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the park, offering a comfortable space to recharge before heading back into the magic.

Access to McKim’s Mile House will be limited to DVC Members with a valid Membership Card and photo ID. Members will be able to bring up to four guests or the number listed on their DVC resort reservation. While operational details are still forthcoming, the addition of this exclusive lounge is sure to be a welcome perk for Disney Vacation Club Members, giving them a Frontierland-inspired haven to rest and refresh in the heart of Magic Kingdom.
