The holidays are just around the corner, and if you are anything like me, you are in full blown crafting mode! I love to craft all year ’round, but during the holidays I like to kick things up a notch. It really helps me to get in the holiday spirit and is a fun and inexpensive way to decorate my home. Here is an easy Frozen inspired craft that you can try this year – this project is easy enough to get the kids involved as well! I created a total of four different ornaments: “Let It Go”, “Do you wanna build a snowman?”, “The cold never bothered me anyways”, and “Some people are worth melting for.”

First, the supplies:

  • clear glass (or plastic) ornaments
  • paint pens
  • glitter
  • rubbing alcohol
  • scrap paper

The steps are simple! First, choose your phrase and draw it on your ornament with the paint pens. I also added some snowflakes around mine to complete the look. Don’t worry if you mess up – that’s what the rubbing alcohol is for! Just dampen a paper towel and the paint will easily rub off  your ornament so you can try again.

Next, create a simple funnel from your scrap paper and add your glitter. I chose two different colors and textures to create a snowy, frosty look. You can fill yours up as little or as much as you would like.

Add the top back on and you are done! How simple was that?

I can’t wait to add these to my tree this year and let the lights sparkle off the glitter. Do you decorate with Disney for the holidays? What kinds of crafts have you done to prepare for this magical time of year? Leave a comment and let me know!
