I don’t know about you, but I personally LOVE having people over (for tea, or whatever…) – and since I also love FOOD, it makes sense that I also love hosting dinner parties – cooking for those I love and sharing the gift of a great meal with them is something I cherish. I also love the chance to get to “Disney-fy” my dinner parties – recipes from the Disney Parks and Resorts are a great addition to any meal, but they make a dinner party just that much more special! Check out these Disney DIY recipes that would be perfect for your next Disney Dinner Party!
I am a huge fan of appetizers – getting to greet and mingle and enjoy a drink and a snack before dinner is the perfect way to start off any dinner party, don’t you think?
I LOVE dining at Boma when I am at WDW, and one of the items I never skip on their buffet is the hummus – and it’s something that is super easy to create at home and serve alongside pita wedges or chips and veggies, it can be made ahead of time, and it will impress your guests when you say you made it yourself!
32 ounces Chickpeas, canned, drained, and rinsed
5 T. Tahini, mix well
2 T. Garlic, roasted
1 t. Garlic, fresh
10 each Lemons, juiced
Salt and Pepper

If you need another appetizer idea, might I suggest this one that comes straight from the menu at the Sci-Fi Dine In Theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios? Serve this Spinach and Artichoke Dip hot with baguette slices or chips
Italian dishes are generally a crowd pleaser, and this one would be easy to make to feed a large number of people. You’ll find this dish served at Tutto Italia over in
16 ounces cavatelli pasta
20 ounces homemade marinara sauce (or your favorite jar sauce)
1-ounce grated Romano
1/3-ounce fresh basil leaves
Sweet or mild Italian sausage bulk
Cook pasta until al dente in a pot of boiling, salted water.
Heat the marinara sauce in a large saucepan.
Cook the sausage over medium heat, stirring until sausage is broken up and fully cooked.
Add the cooked pasta, butter and sauce and toss well.
Add cavetelli pasta. Top with grated romano and garnish with fresh basil.
Pair this with a nice Salad and some garlic bread and you are good to go!
Not feeling like pasta is right for your dinner party? Well then maybe some Meatloaf straight from the 50’s Prime Time Café would be a good choice? Served alongside these amazing Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes – talk about a comfort food overload
