Disney Cruise Line recently received three 2020 Reader’s Choice Awards from Porthole Magazine. Even though they haven’t been able to keep to their sailing schedule this year, Disney is being honored for excellent cruises. Voters remember their cruises with fondness and chose Disney out of a list of competitors that included Norwegian Cruise Line and Carnival Cruise Line.
The awards that Disney Cruise Line sailed away with are “Best Cruise Line for Families,” “Best Children’s Programs” and “Best Cruise Ship Entertainment.” We certainly agree with all of the above! Anyone who has had the luck to enjoy a Disney cruise can attest to the fantastic experience. There are lots of great activities for kids, such as character meet-and-greets, kids clubs, pool parties, dance-offs, and storybook time. The nightly shows are Broadway-worthy, and a treat for children and parents alike. Movie theatres play new Disney films, while every room is equipped with the entire Disney library through their tv. These awards are well-merited in more ways than one!
