More dining locations are reopening at the Disneyland Resort and dining reservations are filling up fast. Disney recently confirmed that one restaurant will not be reopening though. Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel will be closing permanently.
Steakhouse 55 is a high-end restaurant that opened in 2006. It’s known for its high-end offerings including Broiled Cold Water Lobster Tail and Garlic and Herb-crusted Lamb Chops. It replaced what was once Granville’s Steak House.
Instagram user Felipe Disney (@disneyland_ap_engineer) shared the sad news with a quote from Disney:
“BREAKING???it seems Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel will close permanently!!! Such sad news! Hope a new restaurant comes soon!
‘At this time, there are no plans to reopen Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel. We are exploring options for this location and will update you when we have news to share.'”
It’s always sad news when a Disney restaurant closes but we are excited to find out what might replace Steakhouse 55. What do you think about this news?
