Disney Channel's "Shake It Up" is #1 for kids 6-14!

During the week of March 14, Disney Channel ranked as TV’s No. 1 network in Total Day for the 16th consecutive week among Tweens 9-14 (470,000/1.9 rating), delivering the week’s No. 1 TV telecast with Sunday’s all-new “Shake It Up,” and 4 of the Top 5 overall.

In Prime, Disney Channel netted its 307th consecutive weekly win among Kids 6-11 (1.03 million/4.2 rating), and was No. 1 for the 304th time in the previous 307 weeks among Tweens 9-14 (835,000/3.4 rating). In Total Viewers, Disney Channel placed a solid No. 2 (2.43 million), surpassing No. 3 Fox News by 15% (2.11 million), and the next entertainment cable network, TNT, by 16% (2.09 million).

Sunday’s all new “Shake It Up” ranked as the week’s No. 1 TV telecast among Kids 6-11 (1.62 million/6.5 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.71 million/7.0 rating), surpassing an all new “iCarly” on Nickelodeon by 3% and 12%, respectively, in the target demos.

• Impressively, through its first 14 original telecasts, “Shake It Up” is pacing as the No. 1 cable series of all time in Tweens 9-14 (1.86 million/7.6 rating), out-performing the first 14 episodes of Nickelodeon’s key series by double-digit percentages:
