Disney Channel's Imagination Movers gets cancelled

The Disney Channel has decided not to renew the fourth season of “Imagination Movers,” the television show that features the New Orleans-based group of the same name.

Still, the Imagination Movers likely will remain a presence on the Disney Channel indefinitely. Their show is a staple of Disney’s “Playhouse Disney” morning programming block. Over three seasons, the group shot 75 episodes and many of the unaired shows from the third season will be broadcast in the coming months.

So Movers it is a sad day. Tell us what you think in the comment box below.

  1. This is a very sad day indeed. My family have loved the Imagination Movers since their debut on Disney. Unfortunately we saw the writing on the wall since they no longer put them on during prime hours. They put them on at 5 in the morning on weekends and sometimes we could catch them at 1:30 during the week. We really loved the movers and we will continue to love their music. Best of luck Rich, Scott, Smitty and Dave.

  2. im glad its over because it was annoying that stupid brain storm thing kids all it was was a green screen and a stupid conputer and who ever likes this you can kiss mt butt peace suckers!!!!!!

  3. wow. i’m shocked! my son loves this show. i thought the concert and whatnot went well…i think part of the problem – there was never any branding/marketing for the movers at the park!

  4. I am very disappointed but am relieved that at least they will continue to air the old episodes. It is one of my kids’ favorite shows.

  6. I am definitely not happy about them cancelling the show. My daughter loves the show! I wonder why they decided not to renew them though.
