Guests looking to book their 2017 Walt Disney World vacation package, Walt Disney room only reservation or trip to Aulani are going to have to wait a little longer as the central reservations systems at Disney have been down since Friday June 9th for routine maintenance.
Disney originally advised that the system would be up and running as of Saturday morning (June 10) though as of going to print at 5:30pm, the system is still down.
This will have an impact on guests looking to book new vacation packages, make adjustments to existing packages, or book tickets or special events at Walt Disney World and Aulani. Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line are not currently being affected by these maintenance issues.
Visitors working with an Authorized Disney Vacation planner will also find that their agents will also not be able to make bookings or changes as they work directly from the centralized reservation system.
So regardless of how you want to book. When it comes to Walt Disney World, its a bit a waiting game just now.

Many Disney fans are speculating that this may be a sign that Disney is starting to prepare for the release of 2018 Walt Disney World vacation packages as 2017 packages went on sale on June 21st last year.
