Disney Cast Members Preview Wonders of Xandar in Epcot

EPCOT is my favorite park at Walt Disney World. It’s certainly the most “adult” Disney theme park, but while many fans may be most interested in drinking around the world, I just love soaking in the feeling of being somewhere else. Whether it’s somewhere I’ve been to before or somewhere I can only dream of visiting someday, the World Showcase offers a glimpse of other countries and cultures. And now, EPCOT will have its first “other-world” showcase pavilion: Wonders of Xandar.

On Tuesday, April 12th, EPCOT Cast Members enjoyed a cast-only Xandarian Expo. They learned all about these incoming intergalactic neighbors to help them prepare for the debut of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. The new ride is set to open at the Wonders of Xandar pavilion on May 27th. It’s coming up fast!

Xandarian emissaries used the expo to share parts of their culture with the EPCOT cast. They explained about their language, technology, intergalactic history, and more. They also revealed the uniforms that the Xandarian Nova Corps emissaries will wear.

EPCOT Cast Members have enjoyed learning all about Xandarian culture from their new intergalactic friends. They also took part in a fun 80s-themed movie night! Now the countdown is on for the rest of us. We can’t wait to see the new Wonders of Xandar pavilion and all it has to offer!
