Disney+ and Hulu Celebrate Earth Day with Massive Content Rollout

Happy Earth Day! Get ready for a week of celebrating our planet with Disney and National Geographic! Starting April 19th, all your favorite Disney channels will be showing a wide variety of incredible shows and movies about nature.

The “ourHOME” campaign aims to inspire viewers to appreciate the beauty and wonder of our planet. This multi-platform initiative will feature programming from across Disney’s vast library, showcasing the best nature documentaries and content that celebrates the environment.

A special Earth Day anthem featuring the voice of Morgan Freeman will be played throughout the week on Disney networks, television stations, and select digital platforms.

Throughout “ourHOME” week, viewers across Disney+, ABC News, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Freeform, FX, FXX, Hulu, National Geographic, Nat Geo WILD, and Nat Geo Mundo will be treated to a lineup of Earth Day-themed programming. Branded content collections on Disney+ and Hulu will showcase captivating stories produced by renowned storytellers and content creators.

Additionally, beginning on Sunday, April 21, ABC News will launch a special week-long series for ourHOME, “Power of Us: People, The Climate, and Our Future,” featuring innovative solutions for climate change. This series, led by ABC News’ chief meteorologist and climate correspondent, Ginger Zee, along with the ABC News weather and climate unit, will not only cover climate challenges we face but also share stories of empowerment about emerging solutions — from individuals, communities, industry, and government for our changing world.  “Power of Us” will air across ABC News programs and platforms, ABC Owned Television Stations and ABC affiliate stations through Friday, April 26.
