Disney and Fox Submit Animated Featured Films For Oscars Consideration. As award season approaches the announcements of submissions for the 2020 Academy Awards has been making the rounds online. Recently released by The Hollywood Reporter are submissions for Best Animated Featured Film.

With Disney’s acquisition of Fox, it left fans wondering what projects would be approved to move forward by Disney For one lucky film project, Disney decided to move forward with the theatrical release and also submitted the film for Best Animated Featured. Here are the 2020 Oscar Submissions by Disney and Fox for Best Animated Featured Film:

1.) Frozen II (Walt Disney Animation Studios)

In the sequel to the Academy Award Winning Film, Frozen; “Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven leave Arendelle to travel to an ancient, autumn-bound forest of an enchanted land. They set out to find the origin of Elsa’s powers in order to save their kingdom.”


2.) Toy Story 4 (Disney-Pixar)

In the fourth installment of the Toy Story franchise by Pixar, “A new toy called “Forky” joins Woody and the gang on a road trip alongside old and new friends, revealing just how big the world can be for a toy.”

3.) Spies in Disguise (Blue Sky Studios)

The new film by Blue Sky Studios stars Will Smith as ‘Lance Sterling’ and Tom Holland as ‘Walter Beckett’. “When the world’s best spy, Lance Sterling, is turned into a pigeon, he must rely on his nerdy tech office, Walter Beckett, to save the world. “
