Disney adds new canopy pieces to Tron Lightcycle Run. With the announcement at the D23 Expo last weekend that Tron Lightcycle/ Run will be opening in the Spring of 2023, we are seeing a lot of advancement outside the attraction. While it appears that the Ride itself is safe for people to ride, as seen in Josh D’Amaro’s post recently, the outside still is in need of some work.
We did see that new canopy pieces have been added to the facade, along with new walkways that will lead to the entrance. The new walkways actually glint in the sun and look great, obviously when the sun is out.
TRON Lightcycle / Run at Walt Disney World Resort celebrates the franchise by delivering a fast and immersive indoor roller coaster experience. The attraction at Magic Kingdom Park will take riders on a thrilling race through the digital frontier aboard uniquely designed ride vehicles inspired by the two-wheeled lightcycles from the TRON films.
