Disney+ Adding Content Advisories in Front of Disney Classics such as Peter Pan, Dumbo, and More. Some Disney Classic titles such as Dumbo, Swiss Family Robinson, The Aristocats, Peter Pan, The Jungle Book, Lady and the Tramp, and more have received a new content advisory warning for Disney+ subscribers. The new content advisory can now be found in the details section of said titles and plays in a 12 second video prior to the start of the films.

The advisory states, “This program includes negative depictions and/or mistreatment of people or cultures. These stereotypes were wrong then and are wrong now. Rather than remove this content, we want to acknowledge its harmful impact, learn from it and spark conversation to create a more inclusive future together. Disney is committed to creating stories with inspirational and aspirational themes that reflect the rich diversity of the human experience around the globe.
