Re-Imagined Meetings and Convention Space at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Convention Center

At Disney Meetings, they understand the many factors that go into determining a meetings destination. As part of Disney’s commitment to creating exceptional meetings and events, they are providing planners with even more resources to deliver on their goals. The expansion of Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts includes a 28,000-square-foot expansion of the convention center. This new convention center area will also include a 16,000-square-foot ballroom that can be divided into eight breakout rooms. The expansion will also include three pre-function areas and two distinct gathering rotundas providing unique networking spaces for attendees to relax and reconnect.

As they eagerly await the grand opening of the new convention center expansion at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts, take a look at how they recently refurbished the pre-existing function space:

Asbury Rotunda

Upon entering the lobby, attendees will experience the refreshed look and feel to this nautical-themed space. With a fresh coat of paint and new furniture, carpet, wood floor, wall coverings, and lighting, this welcoming convention center is in its prime.

Lobby & Hallway

The convention center expansion, set to open in Fall 2018, will provide an additional 28,000 square feet, offering planners nearly 100,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space at this premiere Walt Disney World Resort location.

Grand Harbor Ballroom

Coming soon, the 16,000-square-foot Newport Ballroom and Newport Gallery pre-function space confirms why this space is ideal for general sessions, exhibits, ceremonies, networking events, and celebrations.

In the meantime, attendees can experience other recent additions to this Disney convention hotel. Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts offers 1,190 newly-renovated Guest rooms – all located conveniently within walking distance of Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s BoardWalk entertainment district. Groups can also reserve a private dining experience in the Keeper’s Room at Ale & Compass Restaurant, a new addition to Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.
