Director Taika Waititi Makes Funny Wall-E Reference About People Under Quarantine. Everyone is spending their time in quarantine in different ways, some are taking advantage of the time together with their families and working on puzzles like Tom Holland, some are working on hobbies or making fun videos, and others are sharing motivational posts on social media to keep people entertained.
One such person is director Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok). Waititi took to Instagram to share an inspirational message while also accepting the likelihood of the reality that no one will really do what he suggests.
Taika shared, “Now is the perfect opportunity to get motivated, workout, and come out of this absolutely shredded. Sadly we’re human and will probably come out of it looking like the people from Wall-E.”
He continued with the caption, “”Stay safe”. buying all that toilet paper, you weirdos. What’s wrong with you? Maybe get your a** tested instead.”
Taika Waititi is currently slotted to direct Marvel Studios Thor: Love and Thunder and is rumored to be on Lucasfilm’s radar to direct a new Star Wars Story in the future after the highly rated success of his two episodes of The Mandalorian on Disney+.
It is fun to see that some entertainers are still looking to brighten their fans day with funny messages or videos and we always love to see a good Disney reference!
