Lumos and Nox
If you activate your chosen device’s virtual assistant (Hey Siri, Hey Google, etc) you can give the verbal command “Lumos” to turn on the flashlight and “Nox” to turn off your device’s flashlight. This can be a helpful trick when trying to find your phone in the dark or if you misplace it. Your device should automatically have this feature, so give it a try!
Accio
If you activate your chosen device’s virtual assistant (Siri, Hey Google, etc) you can quickly find an app or feature by saying: “Accio Facebook” or “Accio Notes” your phone will bring the app to the front of your screen for easy use.
Avada Kedavra
Many devices allow you to set verbal commands to turn on/off features such as Do Not Disturb or Airplane Mode, and you can set your device to use the command “Avada Kedavra” to quickly switch your phone to an unavailable setting.
Google Home Routines
You can change your Google Home Routines to activate with verbal commands such as “Engorgio” and “Reducto” for television or music volume, “Lumos” or “Nox” to turn on and off the lights, and more. Get creative with your options and have fun with it!
