If you are visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and looking for the perfect place to enjoy a drink, Oga’s Cantina is the place to be. The Cantina invites bounty hunters, galactic travelers, locals, pilots, and smugglers alike when in opens in Black Spire Outpost in the Summer of 2019 at Disneyland and late Fall 2019 at Walt Disney World. I mean, what self-respecting remote outpost on the edge of the galaxy would call itself a smuggler’s planet without a cantina?
Guests who visit this local watering hole will do so to unwind, conduct shady business deals, and maybe encounter and friend and a foe. Oga’s Cantina will be run by Oga Garra herself and will adhere to a strict dress code in hopes of keeping unruly visitors in line. But with a history of being a smugglers’ safe haven and a popular stopping point for those seeking to avoid the authorities, you can guarantee there are plenty of stories to share.
Oga’s is the kind of place that attracts some of the most interesting and disreputable characters in the galaxy. And, you never know when a Stormtrooper or a familiar face might make an appearance. Guests of the cantina travel from across the galaxy to sample the famous concoctions crated with exotic ingredients and “otherworldly” methods, served in unique vessels. The drink menu at Oga’s Cantina will range from tasty beverages for children to lively libations for adults.
Guests are invited to enjoy the music of RX-24, the former StarSpeeder 3000 pilot droid we were first introduced to in Star Tours, who has re-imagined himself as the cantina’s DJ. As quirky and talkative as ever, he’s still trying to do his best on the job.
When you visit Oga’s Cantina, prepare to taste the best drinks in the galaxy, unique music, and a colorful cast of characters. You never know what will happen inside Oga’s!
