It’s truly the end of an era for Primeval Whirl since the Animal Kingdom attraction is now being permanently demolished. Guests at the park can see construction walls surrounding the attraction and how parts of it are being dismantled.
Two months ago, we saw the removal of Primeval Whirl ride vehicles, so this isn’t a surprise. If anything, seeing the demolition in progress means Disney is actively preparing the land for a new purpose.
Disney has yet to announce what might replace it at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We will be interested to see what new experience comes to the park!

Primeval Whirl
Primeval Whirl is located in the Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama area of DinoLand U.S.A. It opened in 2002 and was a steel Wild Mouse roller coaster. It had cars that spin in circles while traveling on tracks, permitting the ride experience to vary greatly each time it is ridden.
