50th Anniversary Gold Trim added to Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. Disney dropped a behind-the-scenes video the other day about the transformation of the Magic Kingdom. It shows Cinderella Castle getting the royal treatment and new design, also show was some of the amazing touch-ups for other attractions and ride. One of them being Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. When we saw that, it blew our minds because we didn’t say anything about it yet.
So much has been done for “The Worlds Most Magical Celebration” that little things are escaping us. Like the Gold gilding done to Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. The spires look refreshed and now glint in the sun. The rides top section with the paintings and lights have all been redone also. Now portraits are surrounded by gold and it gleams.

Fantasyland looks stunning right now. Fresh paint is everywhere, there is gold glinting in the sun on almost every building. Pinocchio Houses roof has been fixed and repainted. Sir Mickey’s with the gold flag poles is an amazing view.
I challenge you to stand right in the middle of Fantasyland and not think the refresh was well worth it. Just look at all the spires, and tops of buildings. Then move your eye level down to the signs for places like Princess Hall or Peter Pans Flight. If you are a lover of Disney parks, like I am, you should be awed by the job Disney has done overhauling the land.
