Construction update for new DVC tower at Disneyland Hotel

A new Disney Vacation Club tower is coming to the Disneyland Hotel at the Disneyland Resort. The new tower is scheduled to open in 2023. We stopped by recently to check out the construction.

Construction walls can be seen at the water slide area of the hotel pool. Construction is ongoing but does not start until 9 am each day.

You can see a large crane and an excavator in the area along with a large pile of dirt. It looks as if the hole for the foundation has been dug and rebar is being formed.

The new tower will have 12 floors and 350 rooms. There will also be a new 2,400 square foot pool with a splash pad area.
