Club 33 to receive It’s a Small World 55th anniversary mug

A new mug is coming to Disneyland‘s Club 33. The design is themed to “it’s a small world” to celebrate the attraction’s 55th anniversary.

Artist Henrik Van Ryzin, who designed the mug, shared the news on his Instagram account.

His post reads:

“We are SO EXCITED to be able to finally share this! Many moons ago we were asked by the team at Disneyland’s Club 33 to design a mug celebrating the 55th anniversary of the It’s A Small World attraction. The opportunity to work with Club 33 was so much more than an honor – Disneyland parks shaped me into the artist that I am today. If I could go back in time and tell 12 year old me that I’d be designing a mug not just for Disneyland, but for a SECRET club hidden inside Disneyland, my childhood heart would explode!
Mahalo nui loa to the amazing team at Club 33 & @marcusgonz for the amazing opportunity, for keeping the mug moving forward during the pandemic, and for being so dang awesome to work with! @timwollweber thank you for doing such an INCREDIBLE job pulling my designs into the 3rd dimension! The mug looks like the exterior of the attraction, white with gold accents and a white boat (the attraction vehicle) on top. The attraction’s opening year, 1966, is also on the mug along with the number 33 for the Club. A little Club 33 flag sits on the boat and there’s even a straw hole!
