Guardians of the Galaxy show building is an amazing blue today! Disney has not been very vocal lately on construction updates for the newest coaster which is due to open soon. So while they are mum, we were at the parks today and noticed how blue the building is. It is moving right along with hopes of it opening by Oct 1, 2021. That is Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary. A major factor for not having anything more to update on is the whole coaster is indoors. Unlike Velocicoaster at Universal IoA, which is outside, where we can watch the testing. Here we are unable to see anything but the building. So we do not know how far along they are.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be the first “other-world” showcase pavilion at Epcot. The adventure starts in the “Galaxarium,” a planetarium-like exhibition that explores the similarities and mysteries of the formation of Earth’s galaxy and Xandar. You will be invited to learn more about the treasures Xandar has to share – until the moment when the Guardians of the Galaxy arrive, and adventures across the cosmos ensue. The attraction will feature a new innovation from Walt Disney Imagineering – a storytelling coaster that rotates 360 degrees to focus your attention on the action, including the first reverse launch on a Disney coaster.
