As if picking your favorite brunch spot wasn’t already hard enough with excellent choices like Homecomin’ and Wine Bar George, now you have to put City Works in the mix to make coming to a decision even harder.
City Works opened at Disney Springs in early February and is one of the newest restaurants to join the group of excellent eateries available there. City Works is an ‘eatery and pour house’ style restaurant that serves classic American food with a twist. Here you can enjoy a sports and music-centered atmosphere with their local and global sourced craft beers on draft, and a delicious varying menu with flavorful options.
You can also enjoy their brunch menu, available only on Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.! During brunch, they serve a variety of sweet and savory dishes and have a variety of breakfast cocktails available (‘Create your own mimosa flight,’ I’m looking at you.) On their menu, you’ll see sweet dishes like the ‘Sweet Child O Mine.’ A french toast dish made up of brioche bread covered in a vanilla bean ice cream batter, with Bailey’s cream cheese, and topped with a mixed berry compote + powdered sugar. (WOW right?)
Or if you’re in the mood for something more savory they have plenty of choices, like the ‘Easy Like Sunday Morning’ breakfast flatbread. It is topped with house-made sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon, mozzarella, smoked cheddar, garlic puree, and arugula.
