Disney announces a new Cirque du Soleil show called Cirque du Soleil Drawn to Life which is set to debut in 2021! The Disney Parks Blog revealed that this show is a collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering! Cirque du Soleil Drawn to Life is rumoured to open late 2021.
Originally, the show was due to debut back in 2020, but was cancelled due to COVID-19, then since then, unfortunately Cirque du Soleil has gone through a turbulent time mass layoffs and then filing for bankruptcy.
Back in 2020, when the show had begun rehearsals, we saw how this show will take you on a journey through Disney Animation. Where an animator’s desk becomes the stage and drawings magically come to life featuring original acrobatic sequences, dazzling choreography, musical masterpieces and whimsical characters!
Like everyone else, we are looking forward to 2021 and what the Disney parks have instore, especially this new and exciting collaboration between The Cirque du Soleil and Disney! Stay tuned for more news about this magical show!
