Christopher Lloyd, the actor best known for playing Doc Brown in Back To The Future, is joining the Star Wars universe! He’s going to appear in a guest starring role on The Mandalorian Disney+ series.
Character details for his role are being kept top secret in the trunk of a DeLorean, but his role has been described as guest-starring in nature. Lucasfilm could not be reached for comment.
The Mandalorian, currently filming its third season in California, was the first live-action series set in the Star Wars universe. It’s set five years after the events of the 1983 film Return of the Jedi.

Previous respected character actors who’ve starred on The Mandalorian include Nick Nolte as the alien ugnaught Kuill, Carl Weathers as Greef Karga and Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon.
Other guest stars who have popped up include Bill Burr, Amy Sedaris, Horatio Sanz, Ming-Na Wen and Jake Cannavale.
