Chris Evans Reads Children's Book To Help Feed Hungry Students During School Closures

Chris Evans Reads Children’s Book To Help Feed Hungry Students During School Closures. More and more we are seeing celebrities step up and use their talents for good despite so much uncertainty in the world as we battle against the spread of COVID-19, aka Coronavirus. With school closures millions of children are now at risk of food insecurity or scarcity due to parents who have been furloughed or laid off and due to schools shutting their doors to prevent the spread among children and staff.

To help battle this hunger for students who do not have access to meals during this time, Chris Evans has paired up with Save The Children and No Kid Hungry to make meals readily available to students and children who otherwise would be at risk of starvation and malnourishment.

“THIRTY MILLION CHILDREN rely on school for food. Responding to the needs of kids during these school closures, @savethechildren and @nokidhungry have a new fund @SAVEWITHSTORIES to support food banks, and mobile meal trucks, and community feeding programs with funds to do what they do best—and also—with educational toys, books, and worksheets to make sure brains are full, as well as bellies.”
