Check Out Every Series Canceled in 2020 from ABC, Freeform, and Hulu. It’s no secret that entertainment is a tough business to be in, and no matter how great or terrible a television show is, networks will continue to move on to new and exciting stories. With heavy changes in the industry this year over 50 television shows have been axed by their various networks, with at least 8 of those titles being from Disney owned networks, Freeform, Hulu, and ABC.
Here are all the shows that have currently been canceled from Hulu, Freeform, and ABC at the time of writing:
“Reprisal follows a relentless femme fatale who, after being left for dead, leads a vengeful campaign against a bombastic gang of gearheads.”
“Harlots is a British period drama television series created by Alison Newman and Moira Buffini. … The series premise focuses on Margaret Wells running a brothel in 18th Century England who struggles raising her daughters in a chaotic household.”
“A police chief on Long Island’s Peconic Bay takes in a young child whom she finds near the site of a mysterious accident, but soon discovers that the girl has no memory of what has happened or who she is.”
Single Parents (ABC)
“This ensemble comedy follows a group of single parents as they lean on each other to help raise their 7-year-old kids and maintain some kind of personal lives outside of parenthood.”
“A spin-off of The Goldbergs, Schooled is set in the 1990s and follows the faculty of William Penn Academy – led by Principal Glascott, Coach Mellor and Lainey Lewis – who, despite their eccentricities and crazy personal lives, are heroes to their students.”
Bless This Mess (ABC)
“Bless This Mess is a comedy series that revolves around a newly married couple —Rio (Lake Bell) and Mike (Dax Shepard)— who plan to ditch living the big city life in New York for a much simpler one away in rural Nebraska.”
Kids Say the Darnedest Things (ABC)
“Tiffany Haddish hosts this update to the classic TV show that spotlights kids talking about their perspective on things.”
Party of 5 (Freeform)
“The series stars Brandon Larracuente, Emily Tosta, Niko Guardado, and Elle Paris Legaspi as four of the five Acosta children who must navigate daily struggles after their parents are deported back to Mexico.” Party of 5 was a reboot of the 1994 series by the same name, but only lasted one season on Freeform.
