The recently released Cars 2 app for iPhone is “TOP SECRET: FOR YOUR WHEELS ONLY!”
Already the #1 top selling application in the Apple iTunes store, this game is a sure hit with fans of all ages. Featuring Mater, Lightning McQueen and two new stars from Disney•Pixar’s latest release, Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell, players are dared to accomplish a mission: to complete each race, unlock new levels and get the high score.
To begin, choose your desired character and location. The three locations inspired by the film vary in difficulty. The Oil Rig is for beginners. Move on to the streets of Tokyo for a little more challenge, or attempt the bridges of London as you increase expertise. There are 8 levels of difficulty per location, with a total of 24 possible challenges.
As is the nature of both racing and espionage, timing is everything in this game. Tap once to jump; double tap to go higher. You can also tilt left or right to direct your vehicle up or down. Score at checkpoints, up that by collecting oil cans, and restore life when you pick up wrenches. Hazards can slow you down, so be vigilant.
