It is finally starting to feel like fall in Florida! That welcome drop in the weather means that a lot of locals will be finding more ways to spend time outdoors. My family has already discussed camping, and there is no better camping activity than roasting s’mores. Camping and bonfires aren’t popular with everyone, even though s’mores are an American tradition. Thankfully for those people, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground has you covered. In honor of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, P & J’s Southern Takeout has unveiled a brand new cupcake with perfectly on-theme flavors.
The Campfire S’more Cupcake is a s’more without the work (or the bug bites from being outside!). The base is a Graham cracker cupcake with chocolate filling and a toasted marshmallow topping. It’s even decorated with a little bar of Hershey’s chocolate, the traditional chocolate for making s’mores. Alongside that Hershey’s piece is a white chocolate square with Chip and Dale holding the number “50” underneath a Fort Wilderness logo. You can see a tiny pine forest in the background. It’s the sweetest way to finish off this spectacularly cute cupcake!
You can find this celebratory Disney World cupcake at Pioneer Hall at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. It costs $5.99. If you stop in for lunch, don’t forget you can grab a Refillable 50th Celebration Resorts Mug for $19.99 there too. It comes with free refills at resort quick-service restaurants for the length of your stay and it’s a great souvenir! Enjoy your time in the wild!
