If you, like me, enjoy strolling around the World Showcase on your Disney World vacations then this article is for you!

Have you seen these red phone booths in Epcot’s UK Pavilion of the World Showcase? Did you know that they are actually working phones with INCOMING lines that you can call?

We recently discovered this on our vacation and had so much fun calling from across the way and watching individuals race over to pick up the phone. When they answered we would ask them if they would like a Disney joke or Disney trivia question. It was hysterical watching their reactions and witnessing the joy on their faces as they listened to the joke or engaged with us in Disney trivia.

When our Disney vacations are over and we are longing for a little Disney magic we will get the phone numbers out and make some calls, having fun bringing some Disney Magic to the vacations of others while they are in our Happiest Place on Earth.

So, get ready to have some fun, here are those numbers for ya:

407-827-9861  Right Booth
407-827-9862 Left Booth
407-827-9863 Center Booth

If you use these numbers  and someone answers, leave a comment and let us know how it goes!!!

  1. we have called off and on for a few months. We have better luck on the weekends. Sometimes a fax will answer. But we keep calling. Eventually you will get a person on the other end.

  2. When my husband and I last went to WDW last November, I left instructions with his boss on how to call the phonebooths. As we were nearing the booth, I texted my husband’s boss and told him we were ready and he called. My hubby looked shocked that the phone was actually ringing (I was feigning surprise) and I said maybe he should answer it. That initial shock was nothing like his confusion and surprise when the person on the other end started saying things that only my husband would know. We got him so good – the photos I have of his face are priceless! Don’t be afraid to play a prank on a family member in the UK!

  3. It makes a fax number like noise when either someone has the line open or no one answers. Just try them again. Its been well reported that this fax like sound is common when calling if no one answers.
